DragonBall-ed

Ever since I got my internet plan changed to Unlimited, I 've been downloading and watching episodes of DragonBall Z(DBZ in short). I've reached episode 126 - The Reunion. There are 291 episodes in all. This series was started by Cartoon Network a few years ago and I was hooked to it instantly. But due to some unknown reasons they, abruptly and without any notice whatsoever, stopped airing it after episode 53. Those @#*?&#@. We(all DBZ fans) were so religiously following the series that we couldn't wait for CN to resume the broadcast. We had to do something so we raided the internet.

At that time, downloading was tough because broadband connections were not that cheap and not everyone had one(I didn't). So we would just share episodes we could find on the net but they too were not in sequential order. So we were well on our way watching episodes 245 and 172 and other obscure far off numbers when we were stranded at episode 53. Ah what the hell, atleast we're watching something! I could get my hands on only a few episodes, around 25 odd(obscurely ordered ofcourse) and I also watched one of the movies(there are 15 movies too, and two more series, a prequel called DragonBall and then a sequel called DragonBall GT! haven't watched any of those, they are next in line) which was in japanese and had ebglish sub-titles! But I had to give up when exams started crawling up my neck. Boards are easy! I don't know what all the hype is about. Sadly I lost track after that because of admission problems.

But when I finally got around to getting a broadband connection, the first thing I downloaded was...well lots and lots of songs, but after that I started looking for episode 54 onwards. I found some fan-sites which have all the episodes and more(movies, DB, DBGT). It took ages to download an episode and watch it as the unlimited connection has a lower download speed. The painfully slow speed got to me one day and I finally switched my plan to Limited with approximately 20 times the download speed, is that fast or what? Now I wasn't downloading stuff anymore because it would cost a lot of money. So was content with some really high speed surfing. It was great.

Then a few months back they announced that it was coming back on air, so we waited. They started airing from Episode 1! Never mind, I can wait a bit longer. I did. I found out from sources(other fans who were more hooked than me) that CN had repeated their ugly stunt once after that too and this was the third time that they have announced airing DBZ. I was convinced they would and hoped they wouldn't repeat it. Still really long holidays and long hours at home beckoned and I got my plan changed back to Unlimited. And I've been downloading and watching ever since. It is still painfully slow but CN is more painful. Episode 53 was aired again, and still there was no episode 54 for us to watch!! Those @#*%#$ &#%$@%!!! Third time lucky huh?? Well, they just changed the timing of the show and behold I just saw Episode 1 again!!!!!! I hope they burn in hell for this. Catch this you jackasses -

KAA-MAY-HAA-MAY-HAAAAAAA!!!
