Does time fly or what! Well actually it doesn't. I've just been to busy or too tired by the end of the day to be able to log on and write something down here. Today was by far the most tiring but according to my new resolution I will post at least once in a week. I had started typing this post in the office with something else in mind and saved it as a draft. I had written only a line or so but now that line of thought (no pun intended) is completely lost.
Anyways, here is a day-by-day breakdown of how the week went by:
Tuesday: Work till afternoon. Some Sangam India work towards the evening (packing clothes and stuff). Sridhar quit work. The boxes were heavy after being packed. Tiring work.
Wednesday: Work. Long discussion about Sridhar. More work for me. Also went to college for personal work. The roads are pathetic and driving is a nightmare and takes its toll.
Thursday: Long drive to Gurgaon for work related meeting. An hour's wait at the airport to meet someone. Long drive back to office. Traffic just drains all the energy out of you.
Friday: I don't really remember so I'm guessing the same routine at work. Monotony just kills the mood. Okay, just remembered after writing about Saturday. Had to complete a pending assignment (not work related) and was working till the wee hours of the night.
Saturday: Work. Ultra-long meeting that went into the late hours of the evening. I hate meetings.
Sunday: Holiday. Woke up late. Went to the bank and to get my Voter ID Card where they asked m to fill out a form because my photo was missing. Drove like a madman to catch Mumbai Meri Jaan with friends. Excellent movie, must watch! Went to Sri's place to work on that assignment again. Just wasted time. Woke up till 4 a.m. to complete it.
Monday: Woke up at 6 a.m. again to finally complete it. Work was drab, I was so sleepy. Started writing this post but couldn't complete it. Went home, had to catch up on my sleep so went to bed early.
Today: Work work work! Meeting in Gurgaon, stuck in traffic so shifted it to Saket. Long and boring meeting, fixed another to follow up tomorrow (will cancel it in the morning). Crawled through traffic to reach Feroz Shah Kotla. Roamed about the stadium looking at the possible areas where the event can be conducted. Through more traffic to reach office. More work. Reached home at 9.30 p.m. Had dinner, watched some TV and now writing this.
Moral of the story: I almost always write when I'm in no position to do so, but when I can write I don't really make an effort. Useless observation if I may add.
Points: a million points each to Sushil and Vijender for getting two more medals. We're proud of you.
-100 Billion points to whoever is incharge of maintaining proper flow of traffic in this city. Get another job! Or better still, get a car and try to get from point A to point B without losing your mind! It takes me 30 minuntes to reach my office that's just 3 kms away!!!!
