Damn Global Warming. Damn this heat. Damn these holidays. Damn everything. It's too damn hot to do anything. Can't go out, can't stay in. Bloody 45 degrees!! And on top of that I have this damn sore throat and a raging cough so I can't even consume any cool beverages, let alone water from the fridge. Living on hot coffee(feels nice to the throat though..mmmmm) and cough syrup(eeeeeeeeeeeyuck!!). No more swimming either. Apparently that's the reason why I got sick. Damn!
I have become 3/4th of an engineer. Yesssss! Just another year to go. Go where? I wish I knew.
Watched the three-quels of Pirates of the Caribbean and Shrek. Pirates was looooong and Shrek was boring. I was hugely disappointed with Shrek whereas Pirates lived upto the expectations and was also way funnier than the Green Ogre and Co.
Got my old art-files scanned. Will put the drawings up here soon. Fond memories of the innocent times, when the world was just a bare canvas and I could draw anything I felt like drawing. But it's different now, have to be careful about what I draw, what brush, shade, colour to use because it will determine how much it is worth in the future. Sigh.
Dirtbag in the final again. Damn. But so is FedEx. Hurray. Sharapova lost. Damn. But Ivanovic is cute too. Henin won. Yawn and applause. And I really like this Afro-Asian Cup going on. It's so good to see otherwise blood-thirsty arch-rivals cheering for each other or hugging and giving high-fives etc on the fall of a wicket. and the matches aren't that boring either. Pretty close the last one.
Also Damn Vir Sanghvi for bad-mouthing our beloved George Lucas and the greatest movies ever made. The man has devoted his entire life to the series, and will continue to do so. And if he makes a lot of money out of it by using franchises and action figures etc, good for him. He deserves every single penny of it.
Almost finished with The Dogs of War. Next on the list To Kill A Mocking-Bird by Harper Lee, then Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand(have already got them from various sources, still have to get my hands on The Day of the Jackal by FF).
Aaaaaaaaaarrrggghhhh it's soooooooooooooooooo hot!!!!!!! The AC in this room is broke and the cooler is not the least effective. Damn!
