It is finally here! The most dreaded of all engineering terms after back - THE RESULT. It's been almost two months since the last theory exam and two weeks less than that since the last practical exam. The time has finally come, but again in total UPTU style. (Refresh)
The result was announced six days ago but not for everyone. There were few students in every class who hadn't got their result. This number grew over the days as people asked around and now it seems that only a few have got their results, the rest have been kept in the dark. And the biggest blunder of all - the result of CS and IT branches. It's like they're giving away maks like it's Diwali or something. People expecting around 65% are getting marks way above the 70 mark. That's like being picked up from below the poverty line and thrust straight into the upper-middle class. And for no special reason! I take back my apology conveyed to students from these branches after I found out their paper had gone horribly wrong. People getting around 77% last time topped their respective classes and this time they are not even anywhere near the top 10-15 of the class!! Aaaaaaarrghhh. (Refresh)
Why the injustice towards people who have to face four difficult subjects and only one easy one every semester instead of the one toughy, one little easier and three cake-walk subjects?? WHY?!! Are we being made into better engineers by making our life miserable? (Refresh) Well up yours!! We don't want to be better engineers! We just want to pass! But if you're giving away marks for free then we'd sure as hell like some of them coming our way too!! (Refresh) All CS and IT students reading this can keep their thoughts to themselves. You don't know how frustrating it is for us! You don't have the slightest idea of what we're going through.
When will it come??!!! Have been waiting for six days and it's 24th today and they said the rest of the result will come on 24th but I don't see it anywhere!! Where the hell is it?!! I've been refreshing every few minutes since I came home. (Refresh) Still NOTHING!!

I was lunching in CP with friends in blissful unawareness of the whereabouts of the result. A fateful message inquiring about the result changed the whole atmosphere. My insides sank and I lost whatever interest I had in the food lying in front of me. There were calls made to people sitting at home and anxious moments of "hold on, I'll check". There were 8 of us out of whom 5 had already got their result. And the nerve of those 5!! Telling us to calm down and not worry about it, "it'll come when it comes, you can't do anything about it"!!!!!! Look who's talking!! Just look at yourselves when result's around the corner, or even the smallest rumour! It's easy being smug and all cool and collected when you get marks like it was your birthday the day your papers were checked and they thought of giving you a surprise. (Refresh) When will it come??!!!! This is really really frustrating.......
To anyone who feels offended in anyway - I don't give a damn. I just want my result and to find out how many subjects I have to prepare for when I'm giving my exams next year. It's not easy being me right now. So shut your hole and leave me alone.
(Refresh) Still nothing! I've had it!! I'm going to read Harry Potter now and wait till someone calls to say "How much did you get?" or "Can you check my result?".
