To finally put an end to my misery which has spanned for more number of years than a life sentence, I have been "allowed" to go out on a trip to Amritsar with my friends. Not a long trip, 2 days and 2 nights but I'm still pretty excited. It'll be my first time ever, not counting the trip to Roorkee because there we actually had stuff to worry about. This is nothing like that and there are more people than that trip too. It's just a bunch of people wanting to go out on a vacation to someplace a little farther away than Greater Noida.
The bit I'm most looking forward to is the train journey through the night and a visit to the Wagah Border to see the 'Beating Retreat' ceremony in the evening. And needless to mention the Golden Temple would be our first stop.
I'm pretty excited as you can see. It is still five days away and I'll be even happier after getting a major load off my shoulders on Thursday.
Points: It's raining points like cats and dogs. Collect as many as you can.
